In an IEP​/​ARD meeting, I will assist parents by providing guidance on understanding the special education process, helping them articulate their child's needs, and advocating for appropriate services and accommodations. I will ensure that parents are well-prepared to participate meaningfully in the meeting, offering support in interpreting educational jargon and collaborating with the school team. This support empowers parents to effectively advocate for their child's educational rights and needs. We never forget the student in the process!
